You're Bill Murray

What a day! I went and saw the Bourne Supremacy with my dad this morning. The movie was good, but the camera work was as if it was shot on a handycam! It was really shakey in parts and most of the fight scenes were hard to keep up with. I ended up leaving the movie feeling quite sick.

The Bourne Supremacy

This evening danny boy and the lovelly aj conned me into seeing Coffee and Cigarettes at Dendy. It was actually quite funny. There were some boring parts, but on the whole it was a good laugh.

Tomorrow we're having a BBQ for my step dad's birthday and my real dad is leaving for the UK for 3 weeks to meet up with my step mum. Renae is also back on Tuesday, which i'm very excited about! We're getting closer to finishing up the current project we're working on which will be great once it goes live! More on that later :)

Espresso please

Talk about timing. I rang up to see how the repair of the coffee machine was going, and it had just arrived back! Man it feels good to be able to make coffee again. I am still extremely impressed with Saeco Australia, they were so quick to turnaround the repairs, and it cost nothing because it was still under warranty. They gave the machine a good clean too.

Mmmm coffeeeee

Still not sure how it got clogged, because it gets cleaned weekly and about 10 or more litres of water pumped through it to get rid of any coffee particles that could clog the machine. They didn't really give any explanation as to what went wrong, just that it was blocked (really? :p) and the list of parts they replaced. Renae will be back in 6 days! Yay!

Bye bye baby

Over the course of the weekend my beloved coffee machine decided to cease existance and start spurting coffee out from it's side, instead of the warm glowing brewing unit that gets me through the day.

It's now in the hands of the capable Saeco Australia folks and i'm hoping to have it back and working by the end of the week. I don't know how i'm going to continue on without my beloved machine! :)

Wee Wee Wah Wah

I got up at 4am this morning so I could pickup Renae's brother at the airport by 5:30. He flew back from the UK today. I can't believe it's already been 3 weeks since Renae left. She'll be back in just over two weeks now!

pounds of pounds

I can't believe how busy I've been lately, things are really really crazy at the moment. At some stage I'll get around to finishing the rest of the content for this site. I've found an apartment in Nelson Bay that i've got my eye on. They look really really nice, of course they haven't been built yet. But they're in a very central location in Nelson Bay, would make a great retreat for when we wanted to get away for a bit.

Token

After much fiddling around with my coin mechanism I figured out that I needed to adjust the height of the coin chute internally as the 20 cent pieces I had were getting stuck.

20 cent

After adjusting the height it now works perfectly with the 20 cent pieces. Coin inserts are triggered after a split second in MacMAME. Fun fun fun! Scott is coming up this weekend to visit, i'm going to help to him put together his MacMAME controllers. I think i'm getting everyone hooked, that's 3 people now :)
