It's been a while since i've posted anything, things have been insanely busy. I am still chuffed that my little arcade project was linked to on Engadget, The Unofficial Apple Weblog, MAMEWorld and many more!

SFA3

I've been playing the cabinet when I get a chance, and i've had friends over to have a spin, everyone loves it which makes me really happy.

I've had a lot of interest from people about me posting the plans and building custom cabinets for them. I was thinking of possibly selling kits for people that would let them put their own cabinet together, all they'd need to supply is the computer, monitor and speakers. Since it'd be a flat packed kit it would be fairly easy to ship worldwide. I'd be keen to know if anyone would be interested.

coin door

I haven't really showed any detailed photos of other parts of the cabinet. The coin door has a nice little box inside and a hole at the top to route the wiring through. I still haven't had a chance to wire up the coin mech, one day i'll get around to it.

full cabinet

Here's a full size pic showing the funky stools I got to go with the cabinet, I think they go really well with it.

I bought myself a new Sony Ericsson P900 on the weekend, consequently i've put my old P800 on eBay if anyone is interested.

The logo. Gotta love the logo.

I see that there is a cat5 cable running to the back, I presume it's for networking. So why not wireless? Makes the hotbox even more lustalicious.

Ditto on the kit - looks awesome, if it was affordable I'd seriously consider getting one :)
